Santa Fe, NM - Today, members of the House Majority Caucus introduced legislation to protect the safety of New Mexicans by increasing penalties for extreme violent acts of crime.

The three bills introduced by legislators were HB 7, which would reinstate the death penalty, HB 6, which would expand "Baby Brianna's Law" and HB 5, which would strengthen the "Three Strikes Law" for violent felons.
