New Mexico - The Democratic Party of New Mexico's Chairwoman Debra Haaland released the following statement after the third and final presidential debate.

"Hillary showed voters in New Mexico and across the country that she is ready to be our commander-in-chief. After tonight, it's is even more clear that Donald Trump has run a dangerous and divisive campaign and is absolutely unfit to be President of the United States.

"With just a few weeks left in this election, it's imperative that New Mexicans get out to vote. Our state absolutely cannot risk Donald Trump in the White House, Nora Espinoza as Secretary of State or Republicans running the New Mexico House. It's clear now more than ever what's at stake in this election, and I'm confident New Mexicans will turnout to vote for Hillary Clinton between now and November 8."
