Albuquerque, NM - Today, the Republican Party of New Mexico released the following statement on the successful confirmation of Judge Neil Gorsuch to the United States Supreme Court:

"Today, Republicans overcame the obstruction by Sen. Heinrich and his Democrat colleagues to successfully confirm Judge Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court of the United States," said Republican Party of New Mexico Spokesman Tucker Keene. "One of President Donald Trump's most important campaign promises became reality today, and Judge Gorsuch will soon begin a long and influential career on the highest court in the land. We applaud the hard work of President Trump and Senate Republicans for overcoming the needless roadblocks put up by the Democrats and confirming this strong, conservative, Western nominee to the Supreme Court."
