Albuquerque, NM - Today, the Republican Party of New Mexico released the following statement on former Democrat Party of New Mexico Chair Debra Haaland entering the race for New Mexico's First Congressional District:

"We welcome Chairwoman Haaland to the increasingly-crowded field of far-left extremists and partisan political hacks seeking the Democrat nomination in the First Congressional District," said Republican Party of New Mexico Spokesman Tucker Keene. "Her unsuccessful Lt. Governor bid and experience heading up the Democrat establishment will help set her apart from the other candidates. I hope for her sake that Chairman Ellenberg doesn't enjoy playing favorites in primaries as much as she did."
