Santa Fe, NM – In response to Governor Lujan Grisham's vaccine mandate, House Republican Leader Jim Townsend (Artesia) today issued the following statement:

"I certainly look forward to the day that Governor Lujan Grisham mandates that all state employees return to their offices. New Mexicans should reasonably assume they can count on government to work for them instead of waiting on hold endlessly or being discouraged to complete necessary business due to the hurdles in contacting any government office in the state."
