The Silver City Museum will present "Wilderness: Michael Berman, James Hemphill and Anthony Howell," an exhibition with local photographer Michael Berman and his friends James Hemphill and Anthony Howell. The photography exhibit focuses on wilderness in the southwest and will be open to the public from August 16 through November 30, 2014.

Michael Berman is an award winning, nationally celebrated photographer. Among the many Museums that collect his work is the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and Museum of NM in Santa Fe.

Funding in part for all exhibits and programs at the museum is made possible by the generous support of the members and volunteers of the Silver City Museum Society.

The Silver City Museum creates opportunities for residents and visitors to explore, understand, and celebrate the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Southwestern New Mexico by collecting, preserving, researching and interpreting the regions unique history.
