Concert Band of the Southwest
"Warm the Chill of Winter"

Cobre High School Auditorium - 8:00 pm

The Concert Band of the Southwest, conducted by David Kendrick, will present its Winter & Holiday Concert Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the Cobre High School Auditorium. The concert begins at 8:00 pm. (Please note new time for this concert.) Doors open at 7:30 pm. Seating is open and all seats are free.

Volunteer musicians ranging in age from 15 to 75 will perform a unique selection of contemporary, jazz, and Holiday music, including "Slim Trombone (Sally Trombone's City Cousin – the Jazzin' one Step Kid"), by Henry Fillmore, "Fanfare for the Third Planet," by Richard Saucedow, "Cantique de Noel," by Adolphe Adam, and Christmas Declaration (A Holiday Flourish for Band), arranged by Robert Smith.

As always, performances by the Concert Band of the Southwest, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, are free to the public. Donations for our sheet music library and expenses are gratefully accepted.
