Saturday December 20 will be yet another unforgettable musical performance by Mariachi Raíces de America. The group who has performed numerous times in Silver City is returning to bring its most recent production Navidad Ranchera, a multi-faceted production to include traditional mariachi music, folklorico dancing, and ranchera vocalists to the WNMU Fine Arts Center Theater. In addition to Mariachi Raíces de America's musical performance, the stage will be shared with Ballet Folklorico Paso del Norte, vocalist Antonio Reyna as well as special guests and longtime Silver City favorites from El Paso, TX Mariachi Femenil Flores Mexicanas under the direction of Lily Sanchez.

Mariachi is one of the world's most energetic and passionate musical styles that continue to uphold many of the most revered Mexican traditions. These traditions will be beautifully portrayed through magnificent music as well as some of the most dazzling, vibrant, and elaborate dance that Mexico has to offer. The stellar performers and cast will bring to the stage many of the Christmas and holiday traditions that are celebrated throughout Mexico.
