The Thrift Shop was started on March 23, 2011 to raise funds to help curb the population of homeless animals in the area. All the proceeds from sales at the thrift shop go exclusively to fund our H.A.L.T. (Halt a Litter Today) spay and neuter program. To date the shop has put over $100,000.00 into the community via HALT. This could not have been accomplished without the support of our loyal customers and donors.

The High Desert Humane Society's spay and neuter program began in 2002. By the end of 2014 we had issued coupons for over $267,264.00 in assistance to area residents.

Last year alone we issued over $48,000.00 in assistance. Help is
available to everyone regardless of income. We can help with the
cost of surgery on 4 companion animals per year per household.

March is our special month when we will give an extra $10.00 per cat and an extra $20.00 per dog.

Come join us at the shop, 108 N Bullard for special anniversary bargains and treats for you and your best four-legged friend March18 through March 21.
