Pancho Villa Rides Again web 240x300 2The Mimbres Region Arts Council is pleased to announce the donation of "Pancho Villa Rides Again" a 24" x 30" original acrylic on canvas, by local artist and gallery owner Lois Duffy. Proceeds from a silent auction will help keep the festival FREE! The winner will be announced at the Festival on Sunday, May 24th at 5pm. Bids will be accepted starting May 8th, 5-6:30pm, at the Silver City Visitor Center Blues & Bikes Festival reception. Come celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Silver City's signature event, the Silver City Blues & Bikes Festival. Refreshments will be served.

The painting will be on view at the Silver City Visitor Center (201 N Hudson St) from May 8-21, and thereafter at the festival. Ms. Duffy will be on hand to discuss her work, and give insight into her inspiration for the piece. Festival sponsor Barnett's Harley Davidson of Las Cruces will be at the reception showcasing a 2014 FLS Softtail Slim Harley Davidson, which will remain on view at the Visitor Center through the Festival. On display will also be a 1943 Indian Scout Model 743, owned by Emilio Rivera, courtesy of festival sponsor Melinda's Medical Supply.
