SALT GLAZING & BEFRIENDING ASYMMETRY W/ JACK TROY

CREATING CONTENT: CERAMIC SURFACE & FORM W/ MARKO FIELDS

3 Day Workshop: $185
July 28 - July 30, 2015

Dive into carving your own plaster press mold from which you can create any number of forms. Participants will leave the weekend with finished work, bisqued work and an amazing press mold (or two...) that can be used for years of distinctive clay production. All Skill Levels. View Details.

RENDERING THE BEAUTY OF CLAY VESSELS IN PAINT
W/ TURID PEDERSEN

4 Day Workshop: $135

The class will work with oils and acrylics from a simple setup of Native American clay vessels with an emphasis on achieving a strong illusion of three dimensional objects in space through for-modeling, edge control, and varying depths of focus. Skill level: Intermediate. View Details.

REPLICATING PREHISTORIC SALADO POTTERY

INTERNATIONAL JURIED ART EXHIBITION!
The Silver City CLAY Festival's International Juried Exhibition,CLAY in the Garden, requires that each entry demonstrates the artist's personal interpretation of "CLAY in the Garden," whether that be in the form of a ceramic vessel, tile, sculpture or garden ornament. Entries will be juried based on creativity and artistic merit. Deadline for entry: JUNE 15, 2015. View Details.
