HiLoSilversFriday, December 11, at 7 pm and Sunday, December 13, at 3 pm, Hi Lo Silvers Holiday Concert and Sing-A-Long will take place at the First Presbyterian Church, 1915 N. Swan Street in Silver City. Singers are directed by Nada Dates and accompanied by Rhonda Gorog on piano and Bill Baldwin on bass violin. Free, but donations are accepted to purchase new music.

The chorus will sing Rodgers and Hammerstein's It's A Grand Night for Singing; Ain't We Got Fun, a foxtrot written in 1921 by Richard A. Whiting, Gus Kahn and Raymond Egan; Johnny Mercer and Harold Arlen's Ac-cent-tchu-ate the Positive from Here Come The Waves; Jingle Bell Sleigh Ride; Carol of the Bells, an old Ukrainian Carol; spirituals Dona Nobis, and Infant Holy, a Polish carol and Good News, a traditional spiritual. In addition, a special selection will be played by the Gorog family. After the sing a-long, the concert will end with Rick and Sylvia Powell's Peace, Peace/Silent Night.
