The Silver City Fire Department helped last year to get downtown ready for the Lighted Christmas Parade, which this year will be held on Saturday, November 28, starting at 7 pm. Wreath created by Kris Lowry hangs from the Silver City Gateway Arch.

Saturday, Nov. 28, is also a national day set aside to show support for local business. Let's show our support and shop locally on Saturday.

The festivities downtown will start at 5:30 with the Silver High School Choir caroling on Bullard and Broadway. Stop by the Sun News on Broadway for a ticket for the Christmas Holiday Giveaway Drawing.

After the parade, stop in at the Little Toad and find out who the parade entry winners are. Also, the drawing for the one lucky winner of the Christmas Holiday Giveaway will be held. The winner need not be present to win.
