Rotary Club seeks applications for non-profit beneficiaries of charity auction

Silver City, NM - The Silver City Rotary Club is inviting applications from local non-profit organizations to become beneficiaries of the proceeds from the 2017 Gala & Charity Auction. The auction will be held on April 29th, 2017 at Western New Mexico University.

Prospective Beneficiaries should propose a specific project to be funded that falls within one or more of Rotary focus areas including peace and conflict prevention/resolution, disease prevention and treatment, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, basic education, literacy, or economic/community development. Complete application guidelines/cover sheets can be downloaded by visiting www.silvercityrotary.org and clicking on the Auction link section of the page. Prospective beneficiaries may also request application materials by emailing info@silvercityrotary.org or in person from Western Bank or Silver City Daily Press locations.

Applications will be accepted until September 30th, 2016. A Beneficiary Selection Committee will review the applications, schedule interviews and notify the chosen applicants by October 30, 2016.
