Finn's Gallery owner Laurie Wilson is hosting fine art painter C.R. Thibeau and Silver City poet laureate Elise Stuart this Saturday, December 3, 2016. Finn's Gallery is located in the old Harry Benjamin Studio and home at the corner of Yankie Street and Arizona. The address is 300 N. Arizona Street. Refreshments will be available.

C.R. (Connie) Thibeau will present her paintings of southwest desert scenes starting at 4 p.m., followed by Elise Stuart sharing her recent poems at 5:30 p.m. An "open mike" session will follow Ms. Stuart's readings.

Elise Stuart has been the poet laureate of Silver City for the past three years. Part of Ms. Stuart's mission is to share her love of poetry with local elementary schools.

C.R. Thibeau has been sharing her paintings with the Silver City community since 2007 when she moved to Silver City after retiring as an assistant professor at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. She has won several painting awards while a member of the Grant County Art Guild. She will be displaying both her oil paintings and prints of mixed media work.
