The theater seats and additional items are going on sale at the Silco Theater, 311 North Bullard Street in Silver City on Saturday, January 4 from 11 am to 4 pm. Proceeds from the sale will be put toward theater construction costs for the Silco Theater Renovation Project scheduled to begin on January 13.

The Silco Theater will be closed for renovations for approximately six months. When the Silco Theater reopens, there will be new theater seats, digital projection equipment, a concession area, heating and air conditioning. The total project cost is approximately $500,000. To date $260,000 has been raised.
