Judy O’Loughlin, Grant County Extension Home Economist, will hold food preservation classes over the next three Thursdays beginning July 31, August 7 and August 14.  Interested persons are encouraged to sign up for all three classes or just the ones they are interested in. 

The July 31 class will introduce freezing and drying methods, August 7 will cover water bath canning, and Aug 14 will address pressure canning. Classes will begin at 9 am – 12 noon and will be held in the Grant County Complex Meeting Room, 2610 N. Silver St. Space is limited, so please call the Extension office at 388-1559 to sign up.
