The Grant County Art Guild is pleased to announce that their annual Old Masters Exhibit will open at the Membres Region Art Council gallery on Friday, October 3, with an artist's reception from 4 p.m. till 6 p.m. The show features paintings and other art copying the works of famous artists. The purpose of the show is to give member artists an opportunity to study the work of famous artists and to practice painting in the style of that particular master artist. It also provides an educational experience for the public in identifying the styles and paintings of famous artists.

The MRAC gallery is located in the Silver City Wells Fargo Bank Building. The Old Masters Exhibit will hang there for the month of October and be available for viewing from 9 a.m. till 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. Stop in at the October 3 reception to see what is being shown in this year's exhibit, visit with the artists, have a few refreshments and vote for your favorite work of art.
