Participants are invited to join Dr. John and Cecilia Bell on Saturday, October 25 for a "walking tour" of Fort Bayard National Historic Landmark.

The tour, leaving from the Fort Bayard Museum located in the 1912 Commanding Officer's Quarters (House 26) , begins at 9:30. The Fort Bayard Museum will be open from 9:15 - noon. Participants are encouraged to bring their camera and binocculars, as with the changing colors of the leaves the birds are also starting to migrate.

Although there is no fee, donations to support both the educational programs and restroration projects are welcomed. As a National Historic Landmark, Fort Bayard belongs to our community. For more information, please call 575-956-3294.
