The pioneering indie/alt rock acts Cracker & Camper Van Beethoven will be performing a local Pinos Altos show at 7 p.m. the Buckhorn Saloon on Monday, August 31.

Collectively both bands have released four albums in the last two years as their own personal odes to the north and south regions of California - Cracker's 2014 recent double album Berkeley to Bakersfield and CVB's last two studio efforts, La Costa Perdida from 2013 and El Camino Real from 2014. In addition, CVB have two brand new songs that were recently included in the soundtrack for Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! ["We Got A Long Way To Go (To Get Away From This Sharknado)" and "Infinite Ocean"]
