"Not Just A Holiday Concert"

The Concert Band of the Southwest, under the direction of David Kendrick, will present its "Not Just A Holiday Concert" on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at the Cobre High School Auditorium. The concert begins at 7:00 pm; doors open at 6:30 pm. Seating is open and all seats are free. Donations for our sheet music library and expenses are gratefully accepted. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, so if you need a donor letter for your taxes, just let us know. Thank you to all those who have donated to The Concert Band of the Southwest our 8 years.

The performance will include "Burma Patrol March" by Karl King, arranged by James Swearingen, "Chorale and Allegro" by Claude T. Smith, Jeremy Bell's "Un Petit Café A Paris", "A Night In Tunisia" featuring our saxophone section by John "Dizzie" Gillespie and Frank Paparelli, arranged by Paul Murtha, and several holiday favorites, including "A Christmas Festival" by Leroy Anderson, setting by Robert W. Smith, and holiday melodies of "Carol of the Bells, Greensleeves, In Dulce Jubilo and Bring a Torch Jeanette, Isabella."
