fuzzy slippers rsA Holiday Fiber Art Sale will be held on Friday and Saturday, November 24 and 25, 2017 from 10 am to 5 pm at the Silver City Woman's Club located at 411 Silver Heights Blvd. The sale is sponsored by the SW Women's Fiber Arts Collective (SWFAC), a non-profit supporting economic sustainabilty for fiber artisans.

Get your holiday shopping done locally during Shop Small Saturday at the Holiday Fiber Art Sale. This is a great opportunity to purchase a high quality yet affordable and unique gifts and support local artisans. Available for sale are quilted items, handwoven wearables and towels, felted gifts, hand dyed silks, jewelry, hand knits and so much more.

A small fiber art exhibit will also be available for viewing and many of the artisans also demonstrate at their booths. There is no admission fee, so this is a great way to learn about fiber art.

The Southwest Women's Fiber Arts Collective (SWFAC) was founded in March, 2005. We are a grassroots, all-volunteer, non-profit 501 c (3) organization with the goal of stimulating and supporting successful cottage industry in the southwest.

The SW Women's Fiber Arts Collective's mission is to celebrate fiber art and realize its economic potential. To accomplish this, we nurture and empower both novice and skilled artists and enrich the community by fostering opportunities to experience, learn and earn.
