Cancelled: Xochiquetzal: Goddess of Flowers

Saturday, October 20, 2:00-3:30 p.m., in downtown Silver City.

The Aztecan goddess of Flowers, Xochiquetzal, will appear in downtown Silver City on Saturday, October 20 from 2:00-3:30 p.m., accompanied by Flower Song poets, Aztecan whistles, and copal incense, and 500-year-old Aztecan “Flower Songs” written for the goddess will be a part of the walking “posada.” The public is invited to participate. Photographs are permitted, but the goddess will not speak.
