After 37 years service as a diplomatic gypsy, Rick Sherman retired from the U.S. State Department in 2003. He and his wife Sue spend half their year here and half on the coast of Maine. Based upon his long involvement with the world, Rick is alternately amused, bemused, or confused by what's happening, and regularly vents in this space.
