Friday, March 21, 2014 -- Gila Regional Medical Center's (GRMC) leadership team met with their Board of Trustee Executive Committee members, Grant County Commission representatives, and area Legislators to discuss Senate Bill 268- Sole Community Provider Compliance legislation. This legislation funds coverage for uncompensated services provided by the hospital to the people of Grant County.

"It is a requirement in today's world to work collaboratively with our board of trustees, local legislators, county, community and hospital leadership. This approach will help strengthen our ability to face current rural health challenges," stated Gila Regional Chief Executive Officer Brian Cunningham.

Ongoing meetings will be held to work collaboratively to meet the healthcare needs of our communities.
