On the 29th of March, downtown at The Spot, youth artists got to show off their talents. They turned a white wall into a beautiful piece of art work. The wall is 8ft tall and 39ft long. It was split into squares and each youth got his or her own piece to do what he or she thought would be a good contribution to the puzzle. The event started at 10am and went to 10pm, and most of the pieces where done in the same day. We also had our volunteers paint a piece, as a thank you for helping out. All the participants enjoyed their time learning from one another, different techniques, and different styles as displayed on the wall. I just would like thank the youth artists that were in here and thank you (Cody Bryan, Kaya Thompson, Heather Wasson, Skyler Dahlin, Luke Graves, Karol Mohr, Haley Baxter, Moon, Aaron, Johnathan Chavez, and Annalee Turner). A huge thank you to our Adult Volunteers (Jake Bryan, Brendan Sorrelgreen, Krista Sorrelgreen, Daimen, Byron Byrd, Gabbie Toadlina, and Archie). Also a even bigger thank you to Ace Hardware and New Mexico Professional Painters for making it possible.
