I am running for Town Council District 2, because Silver City needs representatives who speak for all the people.
My background is a 30-year career in telecommunications, as a member of Cpmmunications Workers of America, retired nurse and missionary. I have been married to my husband, Don, going on 26 years. We have one daughter, five grandchildren, and two great-grand children.
We met here in Silver City 31 years ago but our jobs took us elsewhere. When we decided to downsize we were looking for a yard with grass so our rescue dogs could run and play. We decided to come back to Silver City and have been back a year last December.
