* AT 322 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE      
  WARNED AREA. MESONET AND SPOTTER REPORTS INDICATE 1 TO 1.5 INCHES  
  OF RAIN HAS FALLEN ON THE NORTH SIDE OF SILVER CITY...WHICH IS IN  
  THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS. EVEN IF THE RAIN LETS UP IN THE NEXT 20     
  MINUTES... RUNOFF IS LIKELY TO LEAD TO SEVERE URBAN FLOODING IN    
  PARTS OF SILVER CITY.

* AT 302 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED     THUNDERSTORMS WITH TORRENTIAL RAINFALL ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA.          MESONET OBSERVATIONS INDICATED OVER 0.70 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN

  IN ABOUT 30 MINUTES IN PARTS OF SILVER CITY...WITH RADAR           
  INDICATING UP TO ONE INCH IN OTHER AREAS. RADAR ALSO INDICATES     
  STORMS ARE BUILDING BACK TO THE WEST CLOSER TO BAYARD AND HURLEY.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...

SPOTTERS HAVE REPORTED HAIL UP TO A HALF INCH IN DIAMETER WITH THESE
STORMS.

RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING TO
OCCUR...ESPECIALLY IN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. HAIL MAY CLOG DRAINAGES
CAUSING OTHER FLOODING.
