The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) District One office has just list an alert for I-25 north of Las Cruces between mile marker 21-22, which has the southbound lanes CLOSED. This is related to a commercial vehicle incident; please seek an alternate route until the area is clear.

Additional closures are NM-211 at mile marker 3 at Bear Creek in the Gila, and NM-159 in Mogollon between mile marker 10-25 due to debris along the roadway. This is related to the heavy rain and flooding with in these areas.

Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and to avoid these routes until conditions changes. Updates will be placed on the NMDOT web site at www.nmroads.com, which can be retrieved by call 511 in state and 1-800-432-4269 out of state.
