Traffic Alert Saturday, March 15, at 6:16 p.m.

The District One office for the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) is assisting law enforcement with traffic control on I-10 west of Lordsburg due to a crash. Motorists traveling east and westbound between mile marker 5 to 8 will be redirected until the area is clear.

In addition, motorists are advised to reduce speed as high winds and low visibility is being reported along interstate 10 from the Arizona state line to Deming.

Traffic notifications will be posted on www.nmroads.com, which can be calling 511 or 1-800-432-4269.
