Grant County Sheriff's Office Conducts Enforcement Operation


(Silver City, NM)—On March 18, 2014 the Grant County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with Homeland Security Investigations, the Border Drug Task Force and the Adult Probation and Parole conducted an enforcement operation here in Grant County. During this operation the teams were able to arrest 4 individuals on warrants, seized a firearm and a quantity of methamphetamine. The individuals arrested during this special operation were:

    • Rudy Marquez (9/24/80) Failure to Appear,
    • Robert Steven Cordova (9/24/91) warrant for Tampering with evidence, possession stolen property,
    • Lorenzo Medina (11/22/80) warrant Failure to Appear Careless Driving
    • Gilbert Flores (12/17/87) warrant for probation violation

Also during the week of March 14, 2014 to March 20, 2014 ,the Grant County Sheriff’s Office made several other warrant arrests. Individuals arrested were as follows:

    • Tomas Murrillo (11/28/78) warrants for failure to pay, and Battery
    • Annette Vasquez (10/19/73) warrant for DWI
    • Winter Williams (2/22/84) warrant for Forgery/Fraud
    • Pete Evans Jr (5/26/83) warrant APO HoldRobert Cisneros (12/8/54) warrant APO Hold
    • Richard Gonzales (8/8/68) warrant Failure to Appear
