...Strong Winds Return to the Region on Wednesday...

.an Approaching Upper Level Storm System Will Combine with An Area Of Low Pressure in the Texas Panhandle to Give Us Strong Winds Wednesday Afternoon. by Late Morning the Winds Will Pick up From The West and Then by Early Afternoon We Will See Strong West Winds Of 25 to 35 Mph with Gusts to 50 Mph Possible. There Could Be Some Isolated Areas of Blowing Dust Which Will Reduce Visibilities In The Dust Prone Areas. the Winds Should Slow Soon after Sunset.

...Wind Advisory in Effect from 1 Pm to 9 Pm MDT Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in El Paso Tx/santa Teresa Has Issued a Wind Advisory...which is in Effect from 1 Pm to 9 Pm MDT Wednesday.

* Event: Strong West Winds with Areas of Blowing Dust and Wind Gusts to 50 Mph.

* Timing: Winds Will Increase through the Late Morning and Become the Strongest in the Mid to Late Afternoon Hours. Winds Will Slow Soon after Midnight.

* Impact: Strong Winds Will Create Hazardous Driving Conditions for Drivers of High Profile Vehicles and Motorcycles. Blowing Dust Will also Restrict Visibilities. Wildfire Danger Will Be Elevated...be Careful with Flames and Sparks.

* Visibility: Many Areas Will See Visibilities Slightly Reduced To Three to Five Miles...but a Few Dust Prone Locations Could See Visibilities Reduced to Less Than 1/2 Mile. Visibility Will Improve after Sunset.
