Skunk Fire is at 77% containment and consumed 45,278 acres including fire growth and back burns. The fire continues to creep in a north westerly direction along Nantac Rim into Kidde Canyon through steep terrain and rocky outcrops. Fuel types are grass, juniper and pinion pine. Fire is still emitting light smoke from the interior with some single tree torching. Evening and early morning inversions are causing light smoke to linger in the valleys and drainages.

A fire line was completed going into Kidde Canyon by Division Bravo.

Tomorrow the Skunk Fire will be transitioning from a Type 3 to the local Type 4 team at 10:00 am. for Final Update from the Team.
