The Silver City Museum, on Friday, held a Kids Day in the courtyard.

Museum event coordinator Charmeine Wait said the purpose was to have kids learn that kids are welcome at the museum and can learn about things that are fun inside the museum and outside.

She said the entire Harrison Schmitt summer school classes visited the museum. Outside they did activities such as those pictured below, and inside in the Gila Wild exhibit, kids could make animal tracks, read a map and listen to a wolf's howl.
