Gila Regional Medical Center (GRMC) Administration announces Omaira Heakin as the new Gila Regional Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

"Gila Regional is fortunate to add Omaira Heakin to the hospital's administration and financial team," says Gila Regional Chief Executive Officer Brian Cunningham. "Omaira's healthcare financial acumen is top notch and we look forward to her leadership and contributions to our patients, their families, caregivers, physicians, and volunteers."

Ms. Heakin brings over 13 years of financial management experience to Gila Regional, most recently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for Alta Vista Regional Hospital in Las Vegas, NM. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Accounting from the University of Saint Thomas, Columbia, South America and her Master of Health Administration from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and was formerly employed as Assistant CFO at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Missouri and Accounting Manager at HCA Physician Services in Tennessee.
