North Central Grant County In South Central New Mexico...

* Until 500 Pm Mdt

* At 306 Pm Mdt...National Weather Service Doppler Radar Indicated
Thunderstorms With Heavy Rainfall Across The Advisory Area. Doppler
Radar Estimated 0.5 To 1.5 Inches Of Rain Across The Area Between
Goose Lake Ridge And Reading Mountain.

* Locations Impacted Include...
Rural Areas Of Northern Grant County.

Runoff From This Excessive Rainfall Will Cause Flooding Along Small
Streams And Near Low Water Crossings.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Flooding Is Occurring Or Is Imminent. It Is Important To Know Where
You Are Relative To Streams...Rivers...Or Creeks Which Can Become
Killers In Heavy Rains. Campers And Hikers Should Avoid Streams Or
Creeks And Move To Higher Ground.
