Connor's Jewelry victim of burglary

Silver City, New Mexico

On January 21, 2013, at about 12:53am, officers from the Silver City Police Department were dispatched to a burglary at the Conner’s Fine Jewelry Store, which is located at 401 N. Bullard Street.

Upon arrival the officers found the window on the south door of the business completely broken out. The unknown male subject used a large rock to break out the window. Once inside the subject broke the glass to several displays and removed jewelry and watches. At the time of the press release it is unknown as to the total value of items taken.

A witness who heard the alarm going off saw a male subject, wearing a black jacket, getting into a light colored, possibly light silver, Hyundai with NM license plates. The male subject is described as a white male, average height and weight, wearing a dark blue or black hooded sweatshirt, wearing dark shorts with over the calf white socks and black shoes.
The investigation is continuing into these crimes.

Grant County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons involved in this crime. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 575-538-5254.
