Senator Howie Morales Recognized as Legislative Champion 2013

On February 6th, Senator Howie Morales, District 28, was recognized as the 2013 Legislative Champion for his support of the New Mexico Teen Pregnancy Prevention Coalition.

NMTPPC is an organization dedicated to providing programs and sponsoring activities directed at reducing teen pregnancy, addressing the negative consequences of teen pregnancy and improving outcomes for teen parents in New Mexico. Senator Morales was nominated by Senate Majority Leader Michael Sanchez and Senate Rules Chairman Linda Lopez.
