Important meeting for Gila residents regarding Post Office hours

A meeting on Gila Post Office hours will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7, by the U.S. Postal Service at the Gila Senior Center for residents of Gila and the area.

The flyer, which states that the meeting is regarding the future Gila Post Office hours, was also sent to all Gila residents for their input. The meeting will allow comments, so the Postal Service can made a decision for new postal hours for the facility. Questions and answers will also be part of the meeting.

Residents are encouraged to attend to make their voices heard, as well as to address the rumors that have been flying in the area, that the decision has already been made, not only for the Gila Post Office, but also the Buckhorn and Cliff post offices.
