The Silver City–Grant County TEA Party Patriots remind 2014 graduating high school seniors within Grant County, NM, who are going on to higher education to enter the United States Constitution Essay Contest by March 31. This contest is open to home-schooled students who live in Grant County as well as those who attend high schools.

The contest theme is "God, Country, and the Constitution." Entries should contain a minimum of 750 words and a maximum of 1500 words. All entries are due by March 31, 2014. The winners will be selected by April 22, 2014. Scholarship awards will be $500 for first place, $300 for second place, and $200 for third place.

Applications and guidelines are available from Grant County high school guidance counselors and principals.
