4/8 & 4/10- April Forum

The Silver City Food Co-op’s April Community Forum is a class on making tempeh- a traditional cultured soy product. The class will be presented twice, Tuesday, April 8th and Thursday, April 10th from noon to 1 pm in the Co-op Community Room, behind the Co-op storefront. Tea and light refreshments will be served. The Co-op is committed to educating our community about preparing whole foods and our monthly forums are always free and open to everyone. For more information, call the Co-op at 388-2343.

The Silver City Food Co-op will hold a 40th Anniversary Celebration & General Membership Meetingon Sunday, April 27th from 12pm to 3pm at the Commons Center for Sustainability, on Corbin and 13thStreet. Come for lunch, a short business meeting on the State of the Co-op, and Contra Dancing with the Big Ditch Crickets. For more info call the Co-op at 388-2343.

The Silver City Food Co-op’s May Community Forum is on How to Eat Vegetables from Your Garden Every Day of the Year presented by Susan Van Auken, an experienced local gardener. Learn 5 steps that will help you eat your own crisp, delicious and bursting with flavor vegetables throughout the year. The forum is presented twice, Tuesday, May 13th and Thursday, May 15th from noon to one pm in the Co-op Community Room, behind the Co-op Storefront.
