A Tile & A VesselThis exhibition will focus on two clay pieces: one, the artist's interpretation of a vessel, and one, the artist's interpretation of a tile. Each unique pairing will relate in design and/or function, existing as separate parts or as one physically integrated piece. Neo-Mimbreño 2014This juried fine art exhibition of contemporary works is influenced or inspired by designs of the ancient Mimbres potters of the Southwest. Artists are especially encouraged to creatively reinterpret, personalize, or carry the Mimbreño vision into new formats and media. View this exhibition August 2nd - 30th. Private PrōJECTPrivate PrōJECT recognizes artists and their large-scale clay and mosaic private installations. This exhibition seeks to draw attention to the private art that surrounds us. Outstanding international clay and mosaic installation projects will be exhibited as digital projections outdoors on Bullard Street in the Historic Downtown of Silver City during the CLAY Festival weekend.
