This week, we'll be putting a new cabinet in for the soup kitchen and having the tiles cleaned before our open house this weekend.
And we had an organizational meeting for the Sierra House Advisory Board, where we discussed ideas on how we can improve the women's shelter. Ideas discussed were financial development, program development and mentorship, maintenance and improvement, acceptance requirements and shelter rules and short and long-term needs of the shelter.
