"Meditation for Everyone!" -- non-denominational meditation classes -- will be resuming at Billy Casper Wellness Center starting on Tuesday, April 15. Our next series will run for three consecutive Tuesdays, and will be held in the BCWC "Education Rooms" from 5:30 to 6:15 pm. The classes are free and open to the public (that is, both BCWC members and non-members are welcome).

The title of the series that starts on the 15th is: "Living a Joyful Life through Contemplating Death." In The Untethered Soul, author Michael Singer writes that "It is a cosmic paradox that the greatest teacher in life, is death." And while we all have an intellectual understanding that our death is a certainty, how deeply do we know this truth? Moreover, do we know how to use the inevitability of our death to lead a richer, fuller, more joyful life?

Our next series will address these questions. We will also discuss why some consider the moment of our death to be the most important moment of our life.

Each class will start with a 20-25 minute guided meditation, followed by 20-25 minutes of commentary. Each class is self-contained: attend one, some or all three classes. No prior meditation experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome.
