Silver City, NM – Representatives from the local office of the American Civil Liberties Union will be on campus in Silver City and Truth or Consequences beginning April 16.

Presentations on civil rights and the effects of immigration reform will be given at Watts Hall in Silver City on Wednesday, April 16 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The same presentation will be offered at the WNMU-Truth of Consequences campus on Thursday, April 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Administered by the ACLU Las Cruces office, also known as the Regional Center for Border Rights, the presentations are free and open to the public.
