Gila Regional Medical Center (GRMC) is committed to exceptional quality, patient-centered care. In doing so, GRMC administration has decided to explore and develop new options to further improve our emergency room services; especially in regards to Emergency Room (ER) medical providers and care delivery processes designed to improve clinical quality and customer satisfaction.

The current medical provider contract with EmCare will end December 31, 2014. Gila Regional has put out a Request for Proposal (RFP) from ER groups, local and across the country, to explore these ER options. A review committee consisting of GRMC leadership and the physician community will begin the process of choosing the next ER group.

During the transition to another provider model/option, GRMC will continue to focus on high quality care for the community.
