Sustainable Tourism Conference
Infrastructure for a solid path forward

Guest Speaker: Monique Jacobson,
Cabinet Secretary, NM Tourism Department

The NM Tourism Department is seeking to identify the needed infrastructure and infrastructure improvements that will ensure visitors have a positive experience and will return to Northern New Mexico. Come hear Monique Jacobson share the work her team is doing and discover opportunities for implementing infrastructure priorities in Northern NM. Work with Monique Jacobson's staff during the day and build relationships with many local business owners, government officials and many others committed to sustainable tourism.

This will be an all-day working conference. The goals are:

The conference will produce a Sustainable Infrastructure report highlighting the priorities of each participating town/city/region.

Schedule

Sunday Evening's Networking Event, May 18, 2014, 4:30pm-6:30pm.
A contribution for the tapas will be appreciated. It will be held at the Taos Inn, 125 Paseo Del Pueblo Norte, Taos, NM 87571, (575) 758-2233. For those who will stay for dinner, the Taos Inn is offering a 10% discount on your meal.

Monday, May 19, 2014, 8:30am-4:30pm.
The all-day working conference will be at the Blackstone Ranch, 247 State Rd. 240, Taos. Space is limited for the meeting which will be held in the historic restored barn on the Blackstone Ranch property. Please RSVP ASAP. The Conference Cost of $25 includes morning and afternoon snacks and lunch.

Lodging
The first 23 guests registering may stay at the Blackstone Ranch, 247 State Rd. 240, Taos, NM 87571. The Blackstone Ranch is now open for groups and conferences. Guests are being offered a special rate at $135 for single occupancy and $160 for a double occupancy ($80 per person). The Sustainable Tourism conference guests may stay two nights, Sunday, May 18th and/or Monday, May 19th. Hotel payments need to be made out to Taos Green Chamber of Commerce.
