(SANTA FE, New Mexico) – The New Mexico Interstate Stream Commission will host the next Arizona Water Settlements Act informational public meeting Monday, July 21, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Cliff School, 622 New Mexico Highway 211, Cliff, NM 88028.

The results of various projects and studies will be presented by Interstate Stream Commission staff, as well as an overview of a U.S. Bureau of Reclamation report.

The nine-member Interstate Stream Commission is charged with separate duties including protecting New Mexico's right to water under eight interstate stream compacts, ensuring the state complies with each of those compacts as well as investigating, conserving and protecting the waters of the State, in addition to water planning.
