Cleanliness matters. It especially matters at a hospital when germs can cause infection. Gila Regional is proud to announce that they scored in the top 10% of the nation for cleanliness in the second quarter of the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) patient satisfaction survey.

This means patients answered "Always" when asked the question if their "Rooms and Bathrooms were kept clean?" on the surveys they received after their hospital stay. Congratulations go out to the Housekeeping Department Caregivers.

"We are pleased with the way that the Housekeeping caregivers work together to support each other and for the pride that they take in their work," stated Gila Regional Housekeeping Supervisor Susie Martinez. "They really know and emulate the values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence. We also thank all of the caregivers at GRMC for helping us to keep our hospital clean."
