(Silver City, NM)—On July 30, 2014 to August 1, 2014 the Grant County Sheriff's Office in conjunction with the New Mexico D.A.R.E Officers Association will be hosting a D.A.R.E conference at the Grant County Business and Conference Center.

The purpose of this conference is re-certification of all NM DARE Officers and introduction of the new DARE curriculum to be used this upcoming school year. This conference will have DARE Officers from throughout New Mexico.

On July 30, 2014 from 1-4 p.m. they will host a DARE Carnival for children aged 6-14. They will have games, food and fun, so all children are encouraged to attend. All children must be accompanied by a parent.
